Elder Law / Life Care Plan
Planning for aging, long-term care, and dignity.
Holistic planning for aging: long-term care, Medicaid navigation, asset protection where appropriate, and coordination of the legal, financial, and care decisions families face as they age. Flat fee where the scope allows.
- Probate of an estate after death (see Probate & Estate Administration)
- Guardianship litigation (available separately)
Can Medicaid really take the house?
Not exactly — but long-term care costs can dramatically affect family finances without planning. The earlier we plan, the more options you have, because of Medicaid’s look-back rules.
Why "flat fee where possible"?
Some elder law matters fit cleanly into a flat scope; others depend on timing and circumstances. Where a flat fee isn’t possible we use an hourly rate with a cap, agreed up front.
Aging adults, retirees, and the adult children helping aging parents navigate care and protect the home.
Varies with complexity and any Medicaid timing; mapped out at the consultation.
Your exact fee is confirmed at your consultation, the way it always has been. The starting point above is an anchor, not a quote.

Schedule a Complimentary 30-Minute Consultation
At Hurwitz.Law, we believe that thoughtful planning begins with a meaningful conversation.
We offer a private, 30-minute consultation—by phone or Zoom—for individuals and families considering estate planning, elder law, or trust administration services. This conversation allows us to understand your goals, answer your questions, and help determine whether our firm is the right fit for your needs.
Our firm is intentionally boutique. We work with a limited number of clients so that we can provide a high level of personal attention and care. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction.
This consultation is not a sales pitch. It’s a conversation rooted in clarity, respect, and the belief that your time—and your legacy—deserve both.
