Cultivating clarity, resilience, and presence in the
The legal profession has long been associated with extraordinary pressure, stress, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse — realities brought into national focus by the groundbreaking 2016 ABA–Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation study on attorney mental health and well-being. The landmark research revealed alarming rates of depression, anxiety, stress, and problematic alcohol use among lawyers, helping spark a long-overdue movement toward lawyer wellness, mindfulness, and sustainable legal practice. Contact Us TodayAndrew Scott Hurwitz is part of that movement. In addition to his legal practice, Andrew serves as Regional Chair of the Mindfulness in Law Society and is completing the Warrior One Mindfulness Teacher Training for Lawyers program, where he will receive certification as a master mindfulness teacher for legal professionals.
He is also a certified Parkinson’s Yoga and Elder Care Yoga instructor and regularly leads complimentary community classes at Focus Bryn Mawr, the Main Line studio he co-founded nearly twenty years ago, where he still teaches Sunday mornings.
Drawing from both ancient contemplative practices and decades of experience in law, business, advocacy, and teaching, Andrew speaks at law schools, law firms, wellness conferences, and correctional institutions on integrating mindfulness into the practice of law and everyday life — helping professionals cultivate greater clarity, resilience, presence, and humanity in an increasingly demanding world.

At Hurwitz.Law, we believe that thoughtful planning begins with a meaningful conversation.
We offer a private, 30-minute consultation—by phone or Zoom—for individuals and families considering estate planning, elder law, or trust administration services. This conversation allows us to understand your goals, answer your questions, and help determine whether our firm is the right fit for your needs.
Our firm is intentionally boutique. We work with a limited number of clients so that we can provide a high level of personal attention and care. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction.
This consultation is not a sales pitch. It’s a conversation rooted in clarity, respect, and the belief that your time—and your legacy—deserve both.
